NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDMENTS TO LAND USE ASSUMPTIONS, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN OR IMPACT FEES

The City of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico (the “City”), hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing will be held before the City Commission, the governing body of the City, on March 27, 2019, during the City Commission’s regular meeting commencing at 9:00 a.m. at the City Commission chambers, 405 West Third Street, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider amendments to the City’s land use assumptions, capital improvements plan or impact fees.  The City Commission will consider proposed Ordinance No. 701: An Ordinance Amending the City of Truth or Consequences Land Use Assumptions and Capital Improvements Plan Originally Adopted September 26, 2006 and as Subsequently Amended; Adopting the Amended Land Use Assumptions and Capital Improvements Plan Contained in the “Water and Wastewater Impact Fee Land Use Assumptions and Capital Improvements Plan: Report Final” Dated December 2018; and Leaving Impact Fees Unchanged.  The impact fee service area consists of the City’s water and wastewater utility service area, including anticipated future growth areas, but does not include the Village of Williamsburg.  The impact fee service area is shown on the map below.
