Wilson & Company Launches Surveys for Community Feedback
Wilson & Company, a planning and engineering firm from Albuquerque, has announced the opening of three community surveys to gather resident feedback. The data will guide future development projects for the long term. These surveys are part of the company's ongoing commitment to fostering positive transformations within the community through inclusive and strategic planning.
Survey Details
-
Comprehensive Plan Initial Survey: This survey seeks input on various aspects of community revitalization, including public infrastructure, economic development, and neighborhood improvements. Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts on which areas need attention and how they envision their community's future.
-
Community Priority Survey: This survey aims to gather opinions related to community growth and development. Residents and stakeholders can rank their most important issues regarding balancing development with environmental preservation and financial growth, among others. Best practices for similarly sized cities were selected for the proposed current priorities and do not reflect chosen topics. Participants are encouraged to suggest new or additional priorities if the 2014 plan topics or the suggested ones do not resonate with them.
-
Safety Action Plan: Focused on understanding the transportation requirements of the community, this survey covers topics such as road safety, public transit options, and pedestrian pathways. Feedback from residents will help shape transportation planning and ensure that the needs of all community members are met.
How to Participate
Residents of Truth or Consequences are invited to participate in these surveys by clicking the survey title, scanning the QR codes, or attending the Wilson & Company booth at the Fiesta on Saturday, May 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The surveys are open for submissions until May 24, 2025, and the collected data will inform the planning and implementation of future projects.
Importance of Resident Feedback
Wilson & Company, along with the City Administration, emphasizes the importance of resident feedback in creating plans that truly reflect the needs and desires of the community. By participating in these surveys, residents have the opportunity to directly influence the direction of local development and ensure that their voices are heard.
