Construction Update: Crews to Move Traffic to Phase 3 on Second Part of I-25 
Business Loop Reconstruction Project in Truth or Consequences

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, crews will shift traffic to Phase 3 for continuing construction 
of the third and final roundabout for the I-25 Business Loop Reconstruction 
Project. 
The following traffic impacts will be put in place:
• Traffic on North Date Street will be shifted to the existing southbound 
lanes with one lane of traffic open in each direction (northbound and 
southbound).
• Traffic will have access to NM 181 on the newly constructed detour pavement.
• The previous access to NM 181 will be CLOSED.
A map will be provided early next week.
Motorists are encouraged to use extra caution in the construction zone, obey 
lower posted speed limits and allow extra time to reach their destinations. 
Regular work hours will be 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday although the contractor may 
work longer hours or on weekends as needed. Crews will not be working on Monday, 
Sept. 4 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Access will be maintained to all businesses during construction.
