Shelter ManagerFoster, Love, Make a Difference
Not ready or available to adopt but still want to help a pet in need? Fostering an animal from Truth or Consequences Animal Shelter is a rewarding way to provide love and care while making a lasting impact on a pet’s journey to a forever home.
Why Foster?
Becoming a foster caregiver:
- Saves Lives – Providing a temporary home opens space in the shelter for more animals in need.
- Prepares Pets for Adoption – Your care helps animals build confidence, learn routines, and adjust to home life.
- Fits Your Lifestyle – Fostering offers flexibility—whether short-term or long-term, you can help on your schedule.
- Brings Joy Without Commitment – Enjoy the companionship of an animal without the permanent responsibility of adoption.
A Temporary Home, A Lifetime of Impact
Many shelter pets thrive in foster homes, where they receive individualized care and attention. Whether it’s a playful puppy needing socialization or a senior pet recovering from medical treatment, your kindness helps them find their perfect match.
