Truth or Consequences Water Services – Reliable, Resilient, and Rooted in History
Our city’s Water and Wastewater Departments are dedicated to providing safe, clean, and dependable water services to all residents. From fresh drinking water to wastewater management, we work tirelessly to maintain and improve the infrastructure that supports our community’s daily needs.
A Legacy of Water Infrastructure
Truth or Consequences has a long history of water management, dating back to the 1800s when some of the earliest underground pipes were installed—including wooden pipelines that once served the city. Over time, our water system has evolved, but aging infrastructure remains a challenge. In recent years, the city has worked diligently to address leaks and improve efficiency, securing funding to replace some of the most vulnerable water lines.
Our Commitment to Quality and Sustainability
- Water Department: Ensuring a steady and safe water supply through maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades.
- Wastewater Department: Managing wastewater treatment and disposal to protect public health and the environment.
- Ongoing Improvements: Investing in infrastructure upgrades to reduce water loss and enhance service reliability.
We recognize the importance of water in our desert community and are committed to preserving this vital resource for future generations. Whether responding to emergencies or planning long-term improvements, our teams work with dedication and transparency to serve Truth or Consequences.
